Appel Farms' new cheese processing plant exemplifies modern construction efficiency and durability. The facility features a custom pre-engineered metal building with specialized thermal detailing and an exo-structure design for seamless interior walls.
Utilizing Kingspan insulated metal panels and Star Building’s Double-Lok roofing system, the meticulously detailed foundation includes over 14 floor drains with strategic slopes. The team's craftsmanship ensured impeccable thermal isolation around freezers and coolers.
This project proudly received the Star Building Systems Master Builder Award for Best in the Small Manufacturing Category, solidifying its status as a unique facility in Washington.
