Salish Sea Research Center

The Northwest Indian College selected Faber Construction as the lowest responsible bidder on a select bidders list for this new Science Research Facility. Construction started in July 2012 with Faber’s civil division performing all ground work for the project. The building is of wood frame construction with fiber cement and architectural metal cladding. There is extensive mill work throughout the rooms which was coordinated with the install of specialty lab equipment. The new building also contains a photovoltaic system which covers the entire southern facing roof. This building is revolutionizing research capabilities at NWIC.
