Out With the Old, In With the New

The Sumas Elementary School project included the construction of a 45,000-square-foot school building for the Nooksack Valley School District. The two-story building features multiple classrooms, a gymnasium, faculty offices, a cafeteria, and a variety of other student and faculty rooms.

The entire building was constructed on a raised foundation with a crawl space to withstand the flooding that commonly affects the area. We also constructed a new outdoor play area and performed the demolition of the old school building.
